Default Oil Leak more info after getting under the car in 15 degree weather last night

As I stated before, last week I noted that I had lost about 1 quart of oil after driving 2K miles. I discovered this AM that there was oil on the garage floor on the passanger side. I use Mobil 1 and the oil was very clean. When I went under the car last night I discovered that on the Passenger side to the riight of where the oil filter is (roughly) there appears to be oil dripping and landing on the upperside of the oil pan so it appears that the leak is higher up and that the oil is buring when it hits the hot topside of the pan on the pass side. And Ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have an extended after-market warrenty which covers seals etc but exclude "seekage". Given that I lost 1 quart of oil in 10 days I would not call that "seepage" although I am sure the insurance Co will try to.

Default More Info Model, year....cartridge or spin on filter

You might want to post on the appropiate model forum more people hang there.
IIRC someone mentioned if two oil filter gaskets are stuck together this could cause a leak. Have you changed your oil recently?
