Oil pressure light
Oil pressure light is coming on with the 3 beeps and flashes. Its only coming on after the car has reached temp and then another 5-10 minutes afterwards.....oil level seems to be fine, maybe a tad low. Is this the usual symptoms of a bad sensor? Hopefully its not the oil pump because I have no tools where I am at the moment.

does the engine sound ok? can you see in at all with the oil cap off running if oil is splashing around? I have not herd of 4.2 cars having oil pressure problems. has yours ever had the tensioner pads come apart and be replaced? maybe the pieces have finally blocked enough of the pickup tube.

I got it taken care of. The oil pressure sensor was leaking oil pretty bad so I took it into the dealership to fix. They also went ahead and changed the serpentine belt, replaced upper control arms, and a few other things for me. Just bought this car so its nice that the only things wrong with it were the normal wear and tear items.
