Default power steering problem

The steering pump is making a noise while turning the wheel. Also there is foaming inside the reservoir , anyone else with this problem? Results if so. Ken

Default i did. burnt up 2 pumps. here's the short form of a long story...

if you keep driving the car with foamy PS fluid you will destroy the pump. period. i did. had the pump replaced but the fluid was still foaming and the puimp made noise. thought it was a defective pump so it was replaced under warranty. same thing with this pump. i took matters into my own hands and tried to eliminate the small things first. using a syringe with a straw on the end I drew out all the fluid from the reservoir. i notice a plastic and metal diverter/filter is flopping around inside. an educated guess on how it is supposed to snap in. refill the fluid and go through the bleeding procedure to get the air out. voila! no noise. no foam.
