Question about hole under the intake manifold of 4.2i
Hello there,
It's my first post here, but I hope this is the begining of successfull cooperation with you guys. I am owner of Audi A8 D3 4.2i 2003 year and last week I decided to perform a change of the two check oil valves under the intake manifold - my first real intervention. So, now I am waiting for a new throttle body gasket and tomorrow I plan to reassemble all the things. But... I have a question. I found a strange hole with threaded holes around, at the rear of the driver's side, under the intake manifold. There was nothing hanging there (if I remember properly), but I think there should be. Any ideas for what it is and whether missing something? I checked all the .pdf docs that I have, but nothing inside. Any ideas? Thank you very much in advance! https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.aud...bfe024ecfb.jpg |
Tried to find out where the hole goes with wire, but it's some kind of decorative. So nothing to attach on it.
