S6 Avant valve train noise
My 2002 S6 Avant makes a racket from the valve train when started from cold in the morning. Motor has about 50k miles. Noise dies away in 30 sec or so but one "tick" remains for longer and eventually goes away.
Is this due to an oil pressure issue and what is the fix to eliminate the noise?

S6 Avant Valve Noise
Funny thing is mine makes similar noise but when accelerating from LOW Rpm's to about 2500-3000 Rpm. Goes away after that but consistently makes it. I am supposed to go to the dealer Friday. Car has 43K on it. Also the engine does not start immediately when you turn the key. You sometimes have to keep at it for it to turn. Bad new coming up sems like. Have had it since 33K.
