i have a 01 audi a6 with the 4.2 and it is a gorgeous car but i am having a problem my transmission will shift really ruff around 2500 rpms and then it acts like theres is no torque and its throwing the code p1476 which is a evap problem i guess and idk if this would have anything to do with the problem i looked at the transmission control module and it was in perfect shape no indication of damage or water so whats next please let me know i really want to get this car going but not if it cost me alot thanks ...

yes the engine light was on and i ran the code was p1476 which is the vacuum leak detector and i dont know if a vacuum leak would affect the tranny ?

and sorry it was error code 1473 EVAP Emission Control Leak Detection Pump Circuit Open not 1476
