2013 Allroad rack options??

What length cross bars?
Hi,
I just traded my 2011 A4 Avant for a 2014 Allroad.
My existing Thule rack still fits but sits rather high.
I was looking on the Thule website that they now have the integrated Aeroblade Edge system. 7502/7503. There is a note on the website saying it may have issues with the sunroof.
Does anyone have experience with this system on an Allroad ?
My question is will the sunroof not work at all with these cross bars installed, or will it not work with a bike rack attached to the cross bars.
Thank you

'13 allroad. Started with the 53" Aero's and had them custom cut at a local machine shop for the cost of a 6-pack. I didn't like the extra couple inches at all and after cutting them down, I like it a lot better.

I am in the process of trading in our 2010 Avant for a 2015 Allroad. Looking at the factory Yakama mounts, they are the same for both.
Im not sure I even tried to open the roof. I only use the bars for the ski box so its winter use.
I would think the elevation of the Allroad Rails would help.
Gotta say the flush rails on the Avant freak me out. I am very careful mounting the bars and I Have not lost anything yet. The tension need be high for me to feel good.
I think the elevated Allroad rails with space below can better hold the bar mounts. Maybe its just the appearence.
I prefer the flush Avant look but the raised Allroad are more practical.
