Hi Folks

I'm working towards closing the (long distance) deal on a 2014 Allroad, located in California.

The 2014 Allroad I saw on a nearby dealer's lot has both a cargo cover (the roll-up kind that attaches behind the backseat), as well as the cargo area divider net, which is contained in a separate bar which attaches to the cargo area, adjacent to the roll-up cargo cover.

Is this second piece - the roll-up cargo divider net (which extends to the car's roof liner)- standard equipment in the 2014 US spec'd Allroad?

It was standard with my 2013. It's actually a pet (big dog) divider net.

Thanks. Is the net contained in its own cassette, which is removable separate and apart from the cargo net cassette?

The reason I ask is the dealer says the net and cargo cover are both contained in one cassette, but the ones I saw were two distinct pieces. i.e. each can be removed from the car independent of the other.

Yes, the pet barrier is a discrete roller from the privacy cover Roger. I leave it out of the vehicle most of the time as pretty heavy (every little bit helps).

The 'customer adviser' is being a whole lot less than helpful - it's like pulling teeth. Man, he's lazy.

If I didn't really like this particular car, I'd have moved on a while ago.
