Hello,

I am new to Audi and we're considering buying an A4, model years 2014, 2015 or 2016. Was curious to get anyone's thoughts on differences between these models? I've seen some reports that the 2016 is more reliable.

One downside of a 2014 is I just learned the Certified Pre-Owned warranty only runs for 6 years from the original date of the car, so we would only have three years of coverage. (Carmax apparently offers five years from date of purchase). But not sure if the 2016 is worth the extra money.

There are no differences that I'm aware of. I have a 2014 Prem. Plus and love it!

Pretty much the only changes are how the option packages were put together.

the jump from 2016 to 2017 is huge. if you can hold out i would wait until you can find a used 2017
