Default B8.5 allroad Technical Service Bulletin

Is your AR starting to develop a bit of a rattle from the back hatch area of the car? Mine was --- especially noticeable when it's cold.

Well.... I just had my 45k service done and found out there's a TSB for it. My AR was done and now it's all nice and quiet again.

It has something to do with cleaning, relubricating, adjusting and one other thing (don't have my paperwork with me right now) on the locking mechanism.

Just thought I'd pass it along.

No rattle yet on my '14 allroad but good to know. Do you have a link to the actual bulletin?

I looked over my repair order and it does not have a TSB number listed on there. My service adviser says it's a known issue, so your dealership should be up on it.

In a perfect world, all dealerships would be up-to-date on all known issues. But many aren't.

Does your service order specify what was done? You'd mentioned "cleaning, lubricating, adjusting and 'one other thing' "

Any more insight TREGinginCO?

It's a very minor item for me, but I would like to address.

My 2014 has the same issue. Listened to it all last winter and now its back again. I too would like some more insight as to what was preformed.
