My driver's auto-up / auto-down suddenly stopped working a few days ago.

On top of that, with that function inoperative, the key fob activated "windows & sunroof open" / "windows & sunroof closed" also stopped working.

A forum search revealed the trick of holding the window switch for 10 seconds in each direction. I tried this numerous times and it didn't work.

So as a last resort before calling for dealership help, I extended out the 10 second trick: with the window up (and ignition on), I fully opened the window, then continued to hold the switch for 20 seconds, and then immediately closed the window and held the switch "up" for another 20 seconds after it closed.

This cured my problem, and returned function of my key fob.
