Default New owner - questions and comments

Just became the proud owner of a 2015 A4 Allroad. A couple of questions. What exactly is an A4 B8.5 when it comes to the Allroad? Aren't 8.5 models supposed to be Flex Vehicle which mine is not. Is it just the body style changes?

And what is the significance of the FL (8RO) in chassis? How different from 8K?

Oh, and one comment. All of the DIY and videos I saw on changing the headlight bulbs indicated that there were 4 bolts to loosen or remove on the headlight assembly. Mine had 5.

The B8.5 A4 is the facelifted version that started in model year 2013
The U.S. allroad is based on the B8.5A4 and parts of the A5
A 2015 allroad should be E85 capable. Check your fuel cap and owner's manual

Don't know all the changes from the B8 to B8.5, but there were several --- not just cosmetic.

Thanks. Your right that on the door to the fuel cap it indicates that it is E85 capable. But the manual is less straightforward. Mainly talks about the octane requirements.
