I'm still having some acceleration hesitation from coasting/stop. 2013 allroad, lease return. I'd like to reset the computer to reflect my fuel preferences, my city's altitude and my driving style. Will resetting the ECU do this and if so can I do it myself (as you may have determined, I know dick about cars) or will the dealer do it? Thanks

You need Vag Com to reset the fault codes for the engine ecu to clear all learned values. Same goes for the transmission. I'm guessing disconnecting the battery cables and touching them together(after disconnecting both!) would do the same.
