2019 Allroad Delays?
#51
I believe this is what will happen. Will be lucky if we even get the handful of 2019 A4 Allroads built and doubt we will see a 2020 model of the A4 Allroad get built for the US market. All signals point to Audi of America moving the only Wagon option they will sell onto the A6 platform and forcing Avantists like us into the higher price tier and squeeze the most they can out of the niche market they see it as in the US. Audi, just like every other car company in the US has forced fed the masses upcharged SUV after SUV after SUV.
Theyre teasing us with the RS6 Avant as well and if they don’t come through with one in 2020 or 2021 they might simply break America’s heart once and for all.

I'll believe it when I see it; however, I have heard from the dealership that my order has finally been built included providing a VIN number. Expected delivery of late May to early June. Hopefully this will be the end of the nearly year long saga...

Car and Driver: The Audi RS6 Avant wagon is likely U.S. bound, and Audi's former Quattro division has more in the works.

The car and driver article seems to say these 2020s would go on sale in the US later this year. I wonder if this means we won’t even see the 2019 allroad that is supposedly delayed? Maybe they would just release the 2020s? Hopefully that is still this year if that is the case.
