Default Are A-4/A6 18"wheels interchangble?

I am taking delivery of a 2018 Allroad and hate the 5 spoke wheels that come with the car. Can I use A6, A5 rims on the A4 (B9) with thw std. 245-45 tires?

The offset differs between A4 Sedan (and Avant) and Allroad

It appears that the Allroad wheels may be narrower, and if so they would require less offset for clearance.

[EDIT: Another source says the standard rim width is the same 7.5" for both, so this answer is not definitive.]

Visited my local dealer and found out the off set of both wheels. The on my new car (2018 Allroad is7.5jxi8h2-ET29
and the wheels I want to use are from a 2016 A4 that measure
8.0jx18h2-ET47
The parts guy at Audi said I would have to talk to a tire gu to see if they were interchangle. What say you guys ?? Is it he 8.0 vs 7.5 or the et29 vs et47?

You would need very thick spacers (18mm) to match the stock offset of the new allroad. Better to buy new aftermarket wheels with correct offset IMHO. Just my 2¢.

Use this tool to compare.....
