How to initiate rear camera washer?

Default How to initiate rear camera washer?

I saw a video showing the Q5s rear camera washer manually initiated from the MMI. I know it washes the camera when the rear window washer is on, but how do I do it manually? Pretty neat feature though!

Does the AR have that feature? I don't think so. In the Q5, from a video I saw, with the rear view camera on, you hit the right drawer button and select the option to clean the camera.

Okay. I had no idea the allroad had it. Wonder why no one else ever mentioned it. Did you try the method in the video above?

I had no idea either. How is this accessed? On another note, I wonder how effective it can be in real life?

The only way I have used it is when the rear window spray is on and the Canada is shot with fluid. Apparently there's another way of doing it manually like the Q5

@ OP. Did you try hitting the right drawer button when the rear view cam is activated to see if the clean camera option is there? Looks like that is how it is activated in the Q5.
