Locking noise when washing?
I've noticed whenever I wash my B9 allroad that it constantly makes the locking noise as if I was hitting lock on the key fob, even when there is no physical contact other than spraying water on the car. Why does it do this?

I think only vehicles with contact switches will do this. Vehicles with physical button switches won't. I've had vehicles with the small black buttons on the door handles that were fine. The Audi, with touch-sensitive switches "reminds me" to put the key fob inside the car or in the house out of range.

If you leave the key fob inside the car while you are washing it will not do that.

If I leave the key fob in the Q7 or in my pocket while I'm washing it, the alarm will chirp anytime water from the hose hits the door handles..
