29.6 MPG is impressive! Never seen this number on my car. Do you drive highway only at 55 MPH?

I have a bit over 12k on mine and do a mix of city and highway driving and get on average about 25 mpg. Lately - winter gas and colder temps, same conditions about 20 - 22 mpg, not impressive but not terrible either.

In the City we're getting ~20mpg, hit the highway for an extended drive and that jumps to ~35mpg. I've toyed with the consumption through ~12k miles and how you accelerate appears to have the greatest effect. If you're slower and smoother it's a lot easier to keep the numbers lower, quick acceleration from lights/lane changes etc takes it toll for sure.

I've been tracking all my refills with Mileage Keeper since the car was new. Over the course of a bit over 25k miles of roughly 50/50 highway and city I have a 29.2 MPG average. Not quite as good as my B7 Avant, but I'm quite happy with the mileage.
