They are already installed and functioning as intended. I'll try to snap a video soon.

I travel to Germany often. They came back in my luggage this past trip.

Where did you manage to purchase the OEM RoW rear cargo boot rails conversion?

It's not the most straightforward thing, but I have it all mapped out. You attach a new pump to the washer reservoir. This is powered by BCM1, so you'll need to run wire through the firewall. To the pump you attach a hose which feeds the two sprayers. Those attach to the headlights.

I bought all the parts individually from Germany.

Default Performance Upgrades

I would love to hear what you plan on doing with regards to tuning as the performance of the allroad feels a little "under-nourished" in standard form.

I'll have some stuff to share soon. For now, it's all under wraps as it is still in the research and development phase.

Hi! I didn’t see the allroad subforum until just now. I posted an introduction to my car over on the main B9 page, but I figured I’d add a couple new shots here.

My car is Gotland Green with Nougat Brown interior and the Gray Oak inlays with all optional packages. It’s a stunning combination, and these pictures look good but definitely do not do it service until you see it in person. This was the only one of its kind when I picked it up.

I do love wagons, and would love a regular Avant (S4 for sure!) but settled on this primarily for the tech. I used to work for VW’s ERL, and now a supplier, and much of what I helped build is in this thing. Pretty cool. So like my outgoing RoW-conversion 2016 Golf R, I plan on retrofitting many things to this that we don’t get here or are left out as a cost-saving measure. (This also means I have access to resources most don’t.)

So far:
- door warning lights
- Audi Beam “rings” entry lights both front and rear
- warning triangles
- proper RoW first aid kit
- S-Line/S* pedal caps
- 034 Dogbone
- resonator delete [will be nullified by exhaust]
- OEM RoW auto-dimming aspherical mirrors
- OEM RoW rear seat headrests
- OEM RoW rear cargo boot rails conversion
- much coding, including rear tailgate remote closing
- 20” HRE FF01 wheels (20x9 ET25) with Michelin PSS 255/35/20 tires, no spacers
- OEM RoW tail lights (amber dynamic turn signal, separate brake lamp)

In progress:
- Matrix Beam headlight conversion (parts on hand, and wiring/coding test confirms functionality. I just need to remove the front bumper. Ugh.)
- headlight washers (same as above)
- Parking Assistant retrofit (also have the parts on hand, and bought the Euro bumper with the extra holes/mounts. I will drill the rear bumper with the special tool. Bumper and extra sensors are currently being painted.)
- OEM S4 aluminum mirror caps

Next:
- Springs
- Intake
- Tune
- Exhaust

I absolutely love this car! And can’t wait to share the progress.

(P.S. I also have a set of Gotland Green painted reflectors I will be selling shortly. No longer need them.)

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but what is RoW? And what is special about the rear seat headrests?
