Agreed with Fantasiamon. In some states you cant even have your front side windows tinted. Here in Washington we can have 5% in the back but 35% on front side two. Most people in this area have 20% which i think is fair.

I have always had tinted windows so I always roll down all my windows, turn on interior lights and keep my hands on the wheel. Never had a issue and hope I made the officer feel comfortable. I wish front sides came tinted from the factory just to prevent my passengers from scratching the tint and uniform look.
