I know this is an ancient thread, but thought I'd close the loop for the archives.

This is the part in question with Audi part # 8W9-071-645-9AX

The accessory S-Line spoiler is still available, I have sold several of these, and every single person has been thoroughly pleased with the distinct difference it makes in the rear end styling. A touch of what we don't get here in the states.

(All three B9s have the spoiler in this shot)

The spoiler comes primed, ready for paint. Installation isn't too challenging for the average DIYer, although some of the fasteners holding the spoiler down are a bit of a pain to deal with.

I searched for a before and after photo but couldn't find one. There are several on eBay in Poland,so I thought I'd give it a shot in my quest for OEM+ subtle mods.

5 left after I bought mine:

According to the catalog, there are three variants of the 8W wagon roof edge spoiler?
8W9 071 645 9AX - primed for body color painting
8W9 071 645 A 3Q0 - carbon
8W9 071 645 B 3Q0 - carbon matt

I believe the carbon ones are for the sedan. I ordered the 9AX RTP. If I had the bare plastic arches I would probably leave it as is, but I think I'll haev it painted.

I'm really confused - did the pre-facelift B9 models come without the spoiler? It looks like my 2021 B9.5 Allroad already has this spoiler. Or is this longer than the stock one?

I have the Canadian-market sport package if that matters any, but it doesn't mention anything about a roof spoiler.

No, they are clearly wagon part numbers (8W9), and the catalog page clearly shows them on wagon bodies. Sedan versions are 8W5 071 641 A / B.

The factory installed rear lid spoiler on all allroads is 8W9827933 (avants have the same, or for s-line comp edition, 8W9827933B). Then there's the genuine accessories - aerodynamic attachment pieces:
front bumper spoiler - 8W0071609 (until Jun '18)
wide sill panels - 8W0071685
rear bumper side spoilers - 8W0071610 (until Jun '18)
rear bumper diffuser - 8W0071611 / A / B (until Jun '18)
roof edge spoiler - 8W9071645 / A / B

I take it the addon pieces for the bumpers are not relevant to the facelift bumpers.

(but all three wagon roof edge spoiler part numbers sure do seem to look the same)
