I had the day off from work yesterday and decided to test drive a Volvo V90. I wanted to try the T5, as it is the closest in power and price to my Allroad (a 2017 Premium Plus), but the dealership only had a loaded T6. I really like the exterior styling, but the V90 did not drive nearly as well as the AR. The engine sounded very harsh, not a sporty sound, just coarse and unpleasant. It is a bigger car than the AR, and really felt like it in traffic. The interior was comfortable, and the back seats are definitely roomier than the AR. I didn't have a chance to try out all of the electronic park assists and cameras. The sticker price was $68k! It was interesting to compare with the AR, but the Audi was definitely the right choice for me.

I am the owner of a SPA XC90 on the same platform as the V90 and V90Cc. I have the T6 motor


In regards to the Audi, I feel the engine, PowerTrain in general is vastly better then any of the Volvo products. The software in the new models is very finicky and not the best. The seats I would say are about the same, but I feel the Audi is just a notch better in all categories.
