"Misfires harmful to emmissions" question - I am getting misfires in cyl 2 & have swapped...
 

the coilpack with a new one & installed new plugs, but it continues.

I am finding this in the measuring blocks for engine with the VAG. I forget which block, 5 or 15 maybe.

The ICM is only a year or 2 old, but is the cheaper off-brand.

I don't get a CEL, but idle is a bit rough.

Can't tell on driveablity because the car hasn't actually ran right forever.

Could the ICM be going already? If not, what else?

However....the only cylinder head cracks I have ever seen have been cylinder two.

Simple stuff... compression test, swap injectors, check harness to injectors, check harness to coils, swap ICM, scratch head.

Yeah, I'll have to order one up. I don't have a spare or really know anyone local.

I didn't think about injectors.

Back to the garage I guess.
