$1300 - $1500 for a new clutch and flywheel?, Lighter flywheel?
Hi, new owner to a 96 A4 2.8Q. Does $1300 - $1500 for a new clutch and flywheel sound right? Does anyone have any recomendations for a lighter flywheel? I figured it would be a way to get a little more punch out of this dog. Seems like there isn't anything to do to a 2.8.

you can get a good aftermarket clutch and flywheel for less than that.
check out www.awe-tuning.com. They, among others, have good clutch/flywheel kits. expect to pay about $500-$600 in labor charges to install, though.

cams, and lightweight flywheel are good for some more uumph
they will also set you back $525 for cams and $550 for the flywheel.
