$738 later, timing belt and water pump are done....questions...
Just got my t/b and water pump changed because the pump was leaking. Figured might as well do the timing belt again even though it was done at 60k (dealer didn't change water pump back then).
Anyway, I noticed today while driving home that my oil temperature now hovers around 200-210 F or so. Whereas it used to stay consistantly around 175 F. Oil has not been changed yet, only timing belt, water pump and thermostat. Does anyone know why theres a sudden difference now? Thanks.

Re:
Weird. Here is some info that may help. After a full warmup (takes a while), my oil goes to about 205 (higher for harder driving) and fluctuates a little around there...
I bought car and found out the coolant temp sender was broken, and the oil never got above 175 before replacement.
I don't know what is happening in your case, but I can say your oil temp is in the right range.
