Default Is 1.8T (FWD) sport suspension same as 2.8 (FWD)?
I'm looking to buy a set of used sport suspension springs/shocks for my '98 2.8 FWD, Does the 1.8T (FWD) have the same calibrations etc as the 2.8, so I will be safe buying parts off of a 1.8T ? Dealer and AoA are very vague about this...

Sorry, there is a weight difference between the cars. 1.8 suspension won't go on a 2.8!

Default what? are you a mechanic?
If both are FWD there is not a large weight difference as FWD vs. Quattro. Please explain your reasoning better. Thanks.
