1996 A4 5hp19dcs fwd troubleshooting
I bought a 1996 A4 with 100K on it, the trans is dead per previous owner. I got the car with the intent of pulling parts for my 98, but this car has a nicer body and less miles so I'm thinking about fixing it! Can anyone walk me through the diagnostic procedure for this car? Will a regular OBD scanner work with these, I have an OTC Genysis, but don't have the European software at the moment so I will be taking it into the local parts store for scans.
