1999 audi a4 Front speakers
 

Hi so im changing my sound system in my audi. and the front speakers are giving me a problem. the front speakers are 4' coponents. And 4" component set ups are impossoble to find cheap. so i was going to just buy a coax 4" and cut out the tweeters and leave them hanging. or i could install a 5.25" component set up and get an adapter peice for the 5.25" to fit in the 4" hole. i was going to use this adapter :

and buy these speakers to go along with it the adpater

My question is will the 5.25" kenwood speakers and the sak-1104 adapter work? will it fit and allow the mirror to work properly? has anyone tried this before? Please let me know what you did thank you

using that adapter will work. i used that exact same one with my polk audio speakers. it takes some time to make sure they are set up correctly, but it does work. just make sure the speakers you get arent too thick or else it will hit the door/door panel
