My central lock vacuum pump broke on my '01 A4 1.8T, so I tracked down a used one on eBay and just installed it today.

My locks now work again, though not everything is back to normal. Here's what I'm seeing:

1) I needed to reprogram my keys and was able to get one of them reprogrammed, however, the other key won't take any reprogramming. I go through the steps and the second key makes the hazard lights flash when I click the unlock button, however, the locks don't respond to either the lock or unlock button.

2) The alarm sets when I lock the doors with the working key, however, there isn't the alarm set "beep" when I hit the lock button. The alarm does set though--it just doesn't announce that it is set.

3) When I unlock the doors with the working key, all doors and the truck unlock with one click instead of the first click just unlocking the driver's door.

Has anyone else had these or similar issues after replacing the central lock vaccum pump?
