Hi,
I recently purchased a 2012 Audi A4 with 62,000 miles. Its having the same oil consumption issues as the 09'-11'. It failed the official Audi oil consumption test at the dealership. 1.5 quarts per 1000 miles. Audi HQ told the dealership they will not help with piston ring replacement. I want to talk to them directly but the 1-800 number leads nowhere. Leaning towards the dynamic engine flush the dealership is offering for $650. They are seeing up to 80% reductions in oil consumption. Any advise out here? I'm left with no other affordable options.
