2013 Audi TT stuck in park, check engine light on
Check engine light has been going on and off for a couple weeks while having shifter problems. Code says loss of communication with shift console. P light flashes upon starting and sometimes will go solid and lights return to shift console. Stuck in park, unable to get shift lock override to work. Brake light switch? Shift lock solinoid? Range sensor? What am I dealing with here?

Tranny control module, mine was found wet in my car and needed to be replaced. The location for mine (A6) is under pass seat under carpet. That or your fuses for one of the ecu's. Start there maybe
