96 A4 1.8TQM Central Locking

Hi guys couple of questions. Do 96 and 97 98 and on model A4's have the same central locking controll units?
Can i program mine so that it locks the doors after sertain speed? If so how do i go about doing that? is it done with a vagcom?
Where do i go and what codes do i type in?
I do not have the button on the drivers door, that you push to lock and unlock the doors.
Also i do not have the factory alarm either.

Thanks

got my A4 20VTurbo in 1996,,in N. America. Did I say that before? lol

according to the little boys on this forum the car is really a 97. The car is a one of a kind in the US, as it is not the same as a N.America 1997 A4 turbo. Example:It has no cupholders,,rather a change holder in the middle console where the pop up cup holders would be. I am the original owner also.

Re: i have the central locking just with out the remote and with out the button on the door handle

the model year would still technically be a 97
