Default 99.5 a4 residual, money factor
I'm looking at the a41.8 . The dealer can't give me a firm residual or money factor due to the fact that the car is 99.5 and is to be delivered by the start of May. Is this a scam? If not what can I expect the residual and money factor to be in may?
He has quoted me a residual of 62% and a mf of .00309.

Normally, you can't get a lender commitment on money factor for more than 60 days. You should be able to firm it up prior to delivery, and stipulate the factor must be acceptable to you or the deal is off. This equates to 7.42% APR, which is about what they are going today. The trend of late has been DOWN, not up.
I doubt that the 62% is far off for a 3-year, 15,000 mile/yr lease. You could stipulate that this number be no lower as well if it concerns you. Probably won't change.

Default Depending on your source and what options you get, the residual can run anywhere between 60%-64.5%,...

...which can make a pretty substantial difference in your payments. The money factory is basically lease-speak for interest, which varies from one leasing company to the next. 0.00309 is about 7.42%, which is about average (I've seen 0.003 and 0.00307, 7.2% and 7.37%, respectively). Just be sure to get as high a residual and as low a money factor as you possibly can. Frankly, I'm surprised your dealer gave you any numbers at all, even if they are premature. By law (I think), a dealer isn't required to disclose those numbers except on the lease agreement.
Anyway, 62% w/a money factor of .00309 sounds about right.
Btw - the dealer can't give you any firm figures until the day you fill out/sign your lease agreement, as residuals and money factors change daily, which doesn't amount to much of a difference (as far as what I've researched).
Good luck!

Default I got 62% and 55% residuals for 39 and 48 mo lease on 99.5 (long)

My 99.5 is on dealer's inventory sheet, so it will probably be here this week.
A good dealer will quote a lease payment and will absorb the downside. My dealer (in Southern NJ) quoted me $338 (Q, S, Bose, Moonroof)for 48 mos (with $1,000 down) back in November, and even though current rate is $348, he will eat some profit to keep my lease at $338 as he promised.
