99 A4 B5 motor mount replacement
 

Hey all, ive recently acquired the 99 2.8L V6 and im in love. Just finished doing a head to toe assessment and discovered 2 of the 5 motor mounts need to be replaced. Im discovering that their isnt alot of DIY vids on this especially with the V6. Was wondering if this community can help and lead me to some useful info get the job done at home so i can do a proper job on my new baby. I know with the V6 space can be an issue

You're gonna wanna go under the car to get those two side mounts. There's a video about taking off the mounts off a V6 S4 somewhere that I used for a reference. The tricky part is the top 13 mm nut that's tricky to reach, the guy in the video heated up a 13 mm wrench and bent it, I used I got off Amazon and was able to squeeze it on there. Besides that, video also mentions that you don't really need something proping up the engine when only one mount is out, I still did anyway with wood on the oil pan.
