Keep in mind that a 1999 would be a Tiptronic auto, you have a regular auto...
So its conceivable that they are different. I could believe that some fluid would dribbling out, if the car isn't level, etc. I assume the only reason you are worried about the trans in the first place is from all the oil leaks visible in the pics?<ul><li><a href="http://www.crapple0.com/bentley/b/Audi%20B5%2097-2001/Transmission/5sp%20Automatic%20Transmission%2001V/37-133%20ATF%20checking%20&%20changing.pdf">This is the correct way to measure the oil level, much more involved.</a></li></u

Updates
Well guys, I wanna give an update to my posting. It was not an easy task being the first time I did that. After trying a few different methodes to push the transmision oil inside from underneath the carriage I have changed the transmision oil by myself and the car is running well with no problems. Car have now 165k miles. Thanks to all that responded to my posting.
