A4 Avant
Greetings,
I am a total newbie to this forum. My wife and I just purchased an A4 Avant 1.8 Quattro. I have been doing a lot of research about that model year and have noticed that our car has a different console than some of the other 99's and 98's. Did Audi make some changes to their models in the middle of 99? If so, does anyone know what they were?

99.5 has many differences compared to other years (list).
1) one piece headlamps
2) larger sidemarkers
3) HVAC system and ashtray redesigned
4) useful cupholder
5) Taillights were updated
6) Aluminum Audi trim on door
There's more, but I can't remember off the top of my head.

I think maybe some other trim, little doohickies and thingy-ma-jiggers. And hey welcome!! Get
out of here while you can!!! The modding bug will find you quick on this forum! Pretty soon you'll have no money, your wife will leave you for a guy with $$$ and a new 2002 avant and then you'll no longer be a "Audi World Newbie" ;-) Best of luck!

1999.5 differences
When I was about to purchase my 99.5 A4 I did a search on the year and found the following...someone on this board also has a link of exterior visuals that show the differences in all the model years...
