A4 B5 2.8 ticking sound above intake box

A4 B5 2.8 ticking sound above intake box
First time with an Audi, so not sure if this might just be a normal sound. While the engine is running, there's a ticking sound above the intake box holding the intake filter. I opened it up and didn't find anything out of the ordinary, and my only guess would be whatever is sitting on top of the intake box. I initially scared myself thinking the engine was ticking, but the sound gets quieter when moving closer to the engine. I'm also pretty sure it has a vacuum leak from a clogged PCV and tubing and made a valve cover leak which I'll be replacing once the parts come in, just to be sure that wouldn't be causing the sound as well.
