I ordered an A4 1.8T about three weeks ago through a broker reccomended by a consumer group group I joined. He is telling me the dealer he uses has no confermation yet and will notify me as soon as he gets it. It feels a bit strange to me as I have no idea of a delivery date, no written conformation of my order ( and his price). He says the dealer doen't have a production confermation number yet. I'm starting to get more than a little p'd off. Can anyone tell me if this sounds on the level?

Hi, when I bought my 99.5 A4, I also went through a broker and given that they sell basically all makes and models, my family had purchased from him before and it was okay. The thing is that I also wasn't given much info, and in my case, the broker usually has a preset deal with the dealers they deal with and often buys it as part of a fleet pricing, so I don't know if you can get a specific order number like you would if you ordered your specific car with an Audi dealer. My main concern was that I got the options and stuff that I ordered and as far as the price goes, that should have been specified up front though. Don't know if this helps or not, but that's just my experience, good luck!!
