ABS Module

Does anyone know where this module is located. My mechanic was told that it was under the seat. It wasn't there. My ABS light blinks on and off along with the parking brake light which stays on constantly. I have a 99.5 A4 1.8T

in the engine compartment

next to the p/s fluid reservoir
is $1008.54 plus labor

yeah, mine has been blinking for about 6 months now. Iam trying to get a used one for 1/2 the price of a new one , too much $$$ for a blinking light!

I replaced mine with one I found off car-part.com for $95.

I had the same problem as yours (ABS light on and blinking brake light).
