ABS Module Question
If I send my module out to be repaired, can I drive wihout it in the car? Technically, wouldent it be the equivalent of driving right now? becuase it's not working? the company that was going to repair it said, it is dangerous to drive without it becuase you won't have abs, but don't i not have abs now?

Without the module quattro is not 100% functional and your ABS is inoperative.
Obviously you know that it is important to have that module operating properly as it is an integral part of the car's active safety systems.
Yes you can drive without it in place.

not to the car unless the lack of wheel spin control causes you to lose control & wreck
quattro IV uses the ABS to control wheel spin. This means that if you raise one wheel off the ground witout the ABS you wont move... at all. Normaly the ABS would take a seccond to kick in and then once resistance was applied to the lifted wheel the differentials would be presented with a load and the other wheels would be sent power.
This is unlikely to be a problem during the summer months, but in the winter & snowy/icy conditions it could present a major issue.
Just drive the car with it's limitations in mind and avoid putting yourself in situations where you need to make evasive manuvers and or sudden heavy braking.
