IS there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the gas pedal? It takes quite a bit of pressure to get my 2001 A4 Quattro moving from a dead stop.

I think vagcom or un plugging your battery... waiting 5-10 minutes... plugging it back in, then turning key to ignition without turning the car on and letting it sit there while the electronics whirl will reset the pedal / throttle body.
