Default What's with the pictures being of an avant?

Man I'm so sick of avants now (read earlier post) - no offense to avant owners of course. If I was going to consider an RS4, I don't think I'd want an avant with 380hp. Very few people would. Why would audi make it's press release of an RS4 Avant and not a sedan? Does that seem wierd to anyone else? Is BMW going to offer the M3 in a Touring wagon form? Audi, you guys are messed up.

Default Probably because the RS4 is only going to come in an Avant version.

Like the original RS2 it's only coming in an Avant version.

Default Check the RS4 Model Guide--only available in Avant! (crazy Europeans...)

"The RS4, which, like its predecessor the RS2, is to be produced exclusively as an Avant model."

Like someone said last week when the RS4 was announced... "I guess a lot of soccer moms are late for practice in Europe". (Sorry for butchering whosever quote that was =)

Default Uhm, no

My friend,

I've been to europe quite a bit in my lifetime, as a matter of fact I've been to europe at least once every year since I was born. And while you may have a point about SUVs not being popular, your assumption that because europeans don't drive SUVs Audi should show pictures of their RS4 in avant form is just ridiculous. I'm sorry, but I can count on one hand how many high performance wagons I've seen in europe. They don't drive high performance wagons in europe. Some do, but not many. Your reasoning for showing the RS4 in avant form is just totally off base. By your logic, than we can assume that the RS4 avant will outsell the sedan in europe? Since people don't drive SUVs they drive wagons, the RS4 avant will outsell it's sedan version. No, it won't. Think before you post such things.

I don't even know why I'm wasting my time responding to your post since you can't spell Beavis or Americans right. But, nonetheless, I have.

Surprised sometimes at the intelligence some posts show,

Default Dear god...

I am was not totally familiar with the RS2 concept therefore was unaware that it was only available in avant form. What the hell is that all about? Such a high performance car only available in avant form? It's never going to compete with the M series in this country if it only comes as an avant. How many people could say "I drive a 380hp stationwagon." How strange Quattro GmbH is. Well, I can forget about wanting that car in 5 years.

Dissapointed,
