Default at this again...my new koni/vogtland shock spring is actually longer, from perch to perch,

than my old stock sport. the rod in the koni seems to be a longer than the stock shock. does that sound right? it's making remounting a little difficult.

are there any tricks to getting the shock back in, or basically use the same way you used to take them out.

Default you have both sides of the car up on jacks right?

that would be the only problem i see.

Default what method did you use to remove them?

if you removed the top 13mm nuts to get them out then have someone stand on the caliper to make putting them in easier.

Default Yes, I found the Konis a bit longer than the Bilsteins I took out:

Shouldn't be any problems putting it back in, as the spring will limit the travel of the piston.....not sure where you're running into trouble.

the front sports bilsteins are shotened to work right with lowering springs

yep normal... just takes a bit of coercion to get it in.

the spring not being a race setup, iirc will extend the piston completely when not mounted.
