K03 sport with APR chip vs. k04 with APR chip...

K03 sport with APR chip vs. k04 with APR chip...
What do you guys think? My k03 sport is going out, I need a new one, and my car is already chipped. Is putting a k04 on and redoing my software really going to make that much of a difference up at mile high in CO? Or should I just wait until I have the money for something bigger? I've heard "just get the k04 if your k03 sport goes" but at the same time it's about half the price to just replace the stock one. Thoughts?

You can't get the X-Chip if you don't have a 2001.
Part of the reason that you can have more power in the 2001's is because of the VVT as well as the k03 sport turbo... if you throw a k03 sport into a say... 98 or 99 A4... it won't work to run the x-chip.

HAHA My fault.... IMMMMMMMMM an idiot. I missed that he said he had a k03 sport
in the first place. I thought that Gilliamos ment to put IN a k03 sport.... I see what your saying. Yeah.... you are right man... do the X-chip... or wiat for the K04 FX file from GIACCC which is what I'm doing.
