I have a 1998.5 A4TQM and engine was replaced 60k ago, so I'm getting a timing belt change - only problem is my engine code is AJL, not the AEB code which would be the norm.

The only info on AJL I can find is in different languages and I can only decipher that it was for a 200hp factory engine with larter intake and exhaust ports. I am still DBW and from what I know everything is still stock. The dealer that did replacement said they have "no idea" what AJL is - yeah, that's helping me out a ton!

I am at a loss. ECS - who I'm getting the kit from didn't know about AJL either.

Can anyone check this with an Audi CD?

Will the AEB kit work for this engine code?

Will any other parts be different?

Will tuning be effected?

Am I fvcked or is this a good thing?
