I just ordered my A4 2.8 and was wondering if anybody has played with diagnostic software. I need to find a cheap Audi-to-PC cable, or reliable instructions on how to make one.

I paid $800 for mine. I'd say that the $200 for Rosstech is not really worth it unless you really plan on using it. If you just plan to recode your windows module, find someone else to do it, and save to save $200 for something else. I used mine quite a bit when I was installing my supercharger. It was invaluable in diagnosing some fuel mixture problems I was having.
