Anyone ever lease for only one year?
The reason I ask is because I'd like to buy the next generation A4 when it comes out next year. However, I really dislike my current car and want to sell it as soon as possible. So I need a temporary car (an A4?) for almost exactly one year. I know lease's get more expensive the shorter the lease, but I really don't like my current car (VW New Beetle).
Anyone have experience with one-year leases before I talk to my dealer? Heck, I'd even be happy with a used A4. |
1-year lease on a new car is very expensive
1-year lease is very expensive, I would check to see if there are used A4's for lease. Talk to your dealer.

Why not lease for two years and wait an extra year for start-up bugs to be worked out in next A4?

I never had any start up bugs with my old A4..
and that one I had bought in Sept of '95. It was one of the first 1996 models delivered to the US. Besides, the A4 will have already been tested in Europe for about 8 months, before they're sold in the US. Just like they did in '95.

Huh? No, I'm disatisfied with VW quality...
..compared to Audi quality. I figured VW quality was similar to Audi quality because they're owned by the same company. No. I was wrong. You notice Audi's quality in the small details, and I appreciate that. Having downgraded from an Audi to a Volkswagen is a decision I regret everyday and won't make again.
