Anyone have the dealer void the warranty on the suspension due to aftermarket springs/shoxs?
I didn't mention it but I don't think they're that slow. Just wondering what the dealers gonna say later today, I think I have ball joint and control arm issues. TIA

Hoffman is pretty good about that stuff. You should be fine....I hope!
I'm having some creaking from the front end of my car, too, and plan to have them take a look at my next service. Let me know how it goes.

I would think
Aftermarket springs are aftermarket springs. Regardless of WHICH springs they are, the'll probably handle it the same way. I'm not saying they'll definately not void warranty (past experience makes me think they won't), but I'm sure whatever they say to you will be the same thing they say to me, even though we have different springs. They seem to be cool with all that stuff. I wouldn't worry.

Oooohhhh yeahhhh!!!! Bilstein/Eibach killed the same bushing as stock....
....A4s are having problems with, but not starting until 42K+ miles. New attitude of dealers dictated denial of ANY problems in stock cars, even though it is a common problem, well known, and that some completely stock cars were having the same control arms replaced every 20K.
I'm getting mine replaced under extended warranty, by an independent VW/Audi shop, who knew EXACTLY which bushings go bad, and showed me, because they have been replacing them, as has the VW dealership two blocks away in the Passat (shared chassis with A4).
Had same problem with driver's seat movement of 1/2" fore/aft, was told "within specs" by the same service writer who at first said "Oh my gosh, it shouldn't do that." Upper management had a chat with her, thus the ol' "within specs" routine when I called back to see if my car was done. Ridiculous, and there was more stupididty to add to that....
Now I'm VERY open to other makes for the A4's replacement.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/603200.phtml">More on control arm BS.....</a></li></ul>
