I have 21" x 10.5" TSW Bathurst on my S7, and yes they can be subject to damage. I originally had Hankook 275/30/21 tires, and they looked a little small and slightly stretched on the 10.5" wide rims. I smashed into some raised railroad tracks going fairly fast one day, and I thought everything was OK afterwards. However, about a month later I was getting new ceramic brake pads installed, and the mechanic noticed what he called micro cracks on 3 of my TSW rims (on the inside lip). I debated what wheels I should buy, started reading about expensive forged wheels, and noticed those can be bent and damaged too (but I'm sure not nearly as easy as the cheaper TSW's). I just decided to buy 3 more TSW's, and other than a self-idiotic curbing I haven't had any issues with my TSW's. Not saying they're great wheels, but I'm not too disappointed I needed to replace 3 rims. I hit the railroad tracks really hard, and they're not that expensive. On the positive side - I get a lot of compliments on my wheels.
