Anyone know how to remove the "Ashtray/Cigg." lighter unit from a '98?
 

Hey,
Does anyone know how to remove the "Ashtray/Ciggarette lighter" unit from a '98? I need to run somewires and it would really help if i could get in there!

Open the ashtray...
 

remove the tray itself. There will be 2 holes in the bottom of the ashtray. They lead to 2 metal tabs. Use screwdrivers or something to depress those tabs. The ashtray and lighter assembly will come out in your hands.
